Ambience is fun, didn't know this was a Mexican restaurant as the sign isn't noticeable coming east or west on State St. Service was great, food was hot and delicious. Will definitely come back. The starter salsa was spicy which we like and the bean dip was amazing. I've never had the mushroom garnish before. Got the flautas for the kids, the tortillas are cooked perfectly and it was buttery and delicious. Also the Machaca con huevos was so good and made great leftovers as I ate too much bean dip as always.

Food was great, the restaurant was themed nicely, and was clean. Service was pretty quick even though we were a party of 16. One of the orders came out wrong but that was the only mistake I noticed. The staff kept drinks refilled proactively which was welcome. Overall, I would definitely come back here again next time I'm in town.
Driven by a 1000x but finally got to try it. It was worth it and I wish I would have stopped earlier. They were pretty busy but seated our party of 6 fairly quickly. The food was good and they handled the dinner rush like Champs. 10/10 I will eat here again.
This is the 2nd time we have been here. After recently moving out of So CA where the Mexican food is probably the best in the country, everyone said we will never get decent Mexican in Idaho. We beg to differ. The food was terrific. The portions are great, and the prices are better than anything in CA. No complaints from this family!!!
1st time at this restaurant. It came highly and exceptionally recommended by my friend who is a cook there. I ordered Tio's Platter. WOW! Lots of food! Superbly authentic and delicious! I have absolutely zero complaints about the food, the friendly and attentive waitresses, the cooks, and the atmosphere. This is the place to have an outstanding meal in a relaxed and culturally rich setting. Amazing!
The service here has always been wonderful. Food is very delicious. The chip and salsa, bean dip premeal is great. Really like the bean dip with cilantro. Stake El Mexican taste fabulous. Thank you for continuing to taste great with service.
